favorite Impact-driven development

Code that builds businesses, and helps communities.

We set aside about 2 to 5% of each project for verified partners. When you hire us for product work, part of the budget already includes that pledge. You do not pay extra for it.

What is Code for a Cause?

We think serious software should do more than move metrics on a spreadsheet. Every statement of work includes a clear pledge line: a percentage of that engagement goes out to grassroots orgs we have vetted.

It is a line item in our planning, not a surprise markup for you. Same invoice, same scope, with a transparent note on where the community share sits.

Impact snapshot

We have not started disbursements yet. Counters stay at zero until the first verified cycle closes.

Updated as we post

When the program is active, we will publish rolling totals here and send board-ready summaries on request.

Focus areas

Where we aim the pledges most often. Exact grants change; these pillars stay steady.

Animal welfare

Shelters, medical support, and rescue runs for strays where a small transfer goes a long way.

Education

Books, devices, and scholarships for students in rural areas who are otherwise last in line.

Food outreach

Community kitchens and food drives when seasons or jobs get thin.

Environment

Tree planting, coastal cleanups, and groups cutting plastic at the source.

Proof and transparency

We keep donation receipts and partner acknowledgments on file. Nothing flashy, just paperwork you can show an auditor or a curious donor on your side.

Your project, start to finish

01
Kickoff

We quote the build and show the pledge percentage in the same document. No hidden line items.

02
Build

Funds for the pledge sit in a dedicated pool until milestones you already approved are met.

03
Wrap

You get a short impact note: partner name, amount band, and how to request the receipt bundle.

Build something solid,
and leave a mark.

Strong engineering for your roadmap, and a clear community line item you do not have to micromanage.
